For as long as I can remember I have loved taking pictures. Whether I am away on vacation in the rainforest, at a family reunion, or simply hanging out with friends I almost always have my camera with me. I cannot think of a profession better than being a commercial photographer. On a broad sense being a commercial photographer would allow me to do something that I love and would encourage my creativity in my everyday life. It is an unfortunate reality than most professions do not encourage this the same way that being a commercial photographer does. To many, these reasons make being a commercial photographer seem like a dream job.
Another great aspect of this profession is that you can combine being a commercial photographer with another passion of yours. For example, if I were ever a commercial photographer would want to work for a company like National Geographic where I could focus my photography on nature and traveling. For others, their second passion could be something completely different, such as sports or fashion, both of which could easily be combined with being a commercial photographer. Unfortunately, becoming a commercial photographer is very hard to do. Much of the glamour that is associated with being a commercial photographer only comes after years of hard work and lots of luck. Very few of the people that set out to be a commercial photographer ever reach the levels that they hoped to reach when they began.
